September has always been a time for new beginnings. The leaves are starting to turn, the days are getting visibly shorter, and a new school year awaits. That first day of term feeling – where everything is exciting and new and anything seems possible – is a potent one, however long it’s been since you stepped in a classroom. It’s why, for many people, September feels like an annual reset: a chance to reflect on the long, balmy days of summer and look forward to the new routines of the coming months.
For NHS Collaborate, this summer has been a busy one. Four new Collaborate networks have launched in Hampshire, Surrey, Greater Manchester and East Lancashire. Somerset Collaborate has grown into a dynamic and self-sustaining community of over 50 healthcare leaders – most recently seen climbing Glastonbury Tor. And NHS Collaborate has taken the national stage with an immersive workshop at Health + Care, bringing the Collaborate approach of positive and purposeful leadership to a wide range of NHS leaders.
While we’re sad to say goodbye to such a gorgeous British summer, we’re excited to see what September will bring. Our pencils are sharpened and our bags are packed: NHS Collaborate is ready for the new school year. Here’s a taste of what’s to come:
